motivation/inspiration

friday, i will be returning to school and as exciting that may seem to some im not one of those people. i feel like i could use another week of summer before i head back. so with this in mind im looking for an inspirational/motivational quote, photo, mantra anything to get my head in the game and focus on the exciting school year ahead. all your suggestions are welcome!

Today is a blah day, its raining, the items of lost jewelry on my list keeps getting bigger and I have to pack up to go back to school. Thankfully I have the music of Jimmy Buffett to keep me motivated. Hope everyone's day is going better than mine!

my homemade life

as upset i was to have finished animal vegetable miracle, because it was simply amazing, and opened my eyes to alot of new things and also taught me so much, i am happy to say i started a homemade life two days ago and it is so hard to put it down! im almost finished that as well which is very upsetting.

this weekend

this past weekend was just lovely. i got to spend tons of time with everyone i love; my family, the people that are basically my family, and my lovebutton(read boyfriend). friday we saw this movie:

and sunday was spent with the lovebutton all day at the lake and shooting.

i'd like to introduce you to probably the best friend a girl could ever ask for. who else could i buy useless disney princess themed or barie themed gifts at any time of year? who else could i go dress shopping with or to old navy even when it wasnt neccessary? who else would appreciate the endless mixed/themed cds i make for pointless car rides that end in boost slushies and stalking ex-boyfriends? im pretty sure with out this girl in my life, high school would have been a complete drag and i would make less frequent visits home from school. she is my rock and keeps me sane at moments when i am most likely to have a MAJOR freak out moment. i dont know where id be with out you constantly reassuring me. i love you to death, happy birthday to my babygirl kristen!

animal vegetable miracle

after learning it was part of my required textbooks for human ecology this upcoming semester i got incredibly excited. i had originally planned on getting it at the library this summer to read but caved in after realizing i needed it for class. i just started and already am plowing throught it! its so well written.

it's complicated

I just watched It's Complicated the other night, and have come to the conclusion that I am in love with the garden in the movie. It's absolutely gorgeous! I would kill to have my garden look like it.
